Children & Youth

Children and Youth
Each spring, we turn to the New Testament to follow his life and the work of the church throughout the spring semester. We use a wonderful curriculum called Dwell that helps us to see that the Bible is primarily a story about God and not about us, or even the characters of the story. They aren’t great heroes, but regular people with flaws, that God uses anyways. God is the protagonist and the hero of this story, but we get to play a part.

Our class breakdowns for ’23-’24 school year are:

Nursery: 2 and under (Main Level)

PreK: 3 years thru 5 years not yet in Kindergarten (Downstairs)

Lower Elementary: Kindergarten-2nd Grade (Downstairs)

Upper Elementary: 3rd-5th Grades (Downstairs)

Middle School: 6th-8th Grades (Downstairs)

High School: 9th-12th Grade (Balcony)

A yearly registration is required for all students under 18.

Adult & College

Daniel – James Cooke

A class for all adults (college included) in the Choir Room using the Know the Bible series study guide, this class will dive into the book of Daniel that ultimately points to the sovereign Lord of history, who rules over all earthly kingdoms and whose plans cannot be thwarted. Books are $7 each.

The Global Church: The First Eight Centuries – Bob Luedtke

Each week you will hear a 20 minute video lecture from Dr. Donald Fairbairn, professor of Early Christian History at Gordon Conwell, leaving time for discussion. In these videos and his corresponding book, Fairbairn highlights Christian communities both inside the Roman Empire as well as those in places such as North Africa, Turkey, Syria, Persia and India, as he seeks to tell a more global and complete history of the church. Books are $15 each.

High School & College
