Christian Education
Sunday School meets 9:30-10:15 a.m. on Sunday mornings during the school year, from Sept. 7th through the end of April.
Children under 5th grade can be checked in by family at the kiosk upstairs by the nursery or downstairs as you enter the classroom space.

Gospel Basics with Pastor Shaun Spencer and Ben Hubbard
This class will introduce the basics of the message of Jesus by using the “Two Ways to Live” outline, then work on applying that message to our everyday lives and relationships with the study, “A Gospel Centered Life”. If you would like to purchase a copy of the study guide, it can be found here.
The Person of Jesus: Compassion with Jonathan Himes and Jake Posey
This class will look at several scenes from the Gospel accounts to get a deeper picture of Jesus’ compassion and that impacts us and our actions.
Justification: Right with God
A class for 9th grade and above in our newest downstairs classroom. We’ll discover together how Jesus deals with our sin and secures eternal life for us. How he reverses the badness of this world.
College Students are invited to join either High School & College class, or any Adult class based on their preference.

This year we will have adult small group discussion groups with the goal of deepening our application of the Gospel as well as deepening our relationship to one another. Discussion questions will be posted on the church’s webpage that are centered on applying the message of the prior week’s sermon. For those that miss Sunday worship, audio of the sermon will be posted to the church’s Spotify channel.
Throughout the year we will also have some intergenerational events in lieu of our regular classes as we keep cultivating our life together across age groups. Our first will be October 15th!
Children through 4th grade will start with an interactive lesson as they learn the basics of our Faith through the First Catechism. The second half of the evening will be music. Our goal is to not only help our children grow as participants in worship, but also to grow as worship-leaders. Through this music time, the children will also prepare to join with our adult choir and lead us occasionally on Sunday mornings.
This year we are adding a tween section on Wednesday nights! Lessons for 5th and 6th graders will be centered around learning to know and apply the message of the Gospel to their lives in practical ways through a curriculum called “What’s Up?”. They will join the music time with the rest of the children for the second half of the evening.
Our youth will meet in the gym for a time of singing, a devotional lesson, small-group reflection and prayer, and a game (and probably some general shenanigans). We’ll be discussing the Books of History, from Joshua through David. A fresh look at the stories you thought you knew from a new perspective. Bring your friends!
